The mission of IESNA is
"To advance knowledge and to disseminate information for the improvement of the lighted environment to the benefit of society."

The Sacramento Section hosts lighting related presentations at dinner meetings in the Sacramento, California area, typically on the third Wednesday of each month.

Information about the monthly meetings is posted in our monthly newsletter, the Lantern.  Please register here if you would like the Lantern emailed to you every month.

Section meetings are a great way to keep up on lighting issues, including advances in lighting technologies, energy standards, and lighting applications.

The Section is also a great place to network with lighting folks from a variety of lighting related professions.

IESNA has a strong education program with basic and intermediate level courses and seminars. The Sacramento Section offers IESNA lighting courses at various times.  Please register here if you would like to receive notices about upcoming course offerings.
